THE 13th ANNUAL BENEFIT FOR BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF NASSAU COUNTY is now upon us!
Amelia Island and Nassau County have a wonderful Boys & Girls Clubs presence with 2 physical facilities serving the area, The Miller Freedom Center and The Roberts Learning and Achievement Center.
“The Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.”
The Boys & Girls Clubs are very important to the Miller family. Many of you have heard me talk about “Pops”. He was Dave’s father and an inspiration to the many who knew him and to those, who may not have known him, except through his generosity.
Pops helped to establish The B&GC in Nassau County by spearheading the fundraising campaign and helping to secure the purchase of the land for the Miller Freedom Center. Over the years Pops gave his time and money to the B&GC Nassau.
This year’s benefit is now upon us!
Benefit Co-Chairs, Rose Baugh and Nancy Carpenter, along with hundreds of volunteers have a great event planned.

I am donating an original painting from my new “Flower Power” series.
“FLOWER POWER”
The 12″x12″ size is perfect as a gallery grouping on a wall or styled on a shelf in your bookcase. This original painting is 1 1/2″ gallery wrapped, meaning it doesn’t have to be framed.
Starting bid $200….$600 value
Inspired by a Lewis Miller Floral Arrangement…I added lots of color and lots of paint, spread with a Colour Shaper. Lewis Miller is a renowned New York based floral designer. I discovered him on Instagram with his Flower Flash, guerrilla-style street art installations made with flowers. (no relation to me but we both love flowers!)
