HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

Christmas is over.  The glow from gathering with family and friends is starting to ebb.  Christmas gifts have been opened and oohed and aahed over.  The best gifts are always the ones that speak to or from the heart.  Every year I try to choose the perfect gift for my  family and friends.  I don’t always succeed, but I sure do enjoy the journey.  The fun of Christmas giving is always about thinking of others, the joy of choosing just the right gift.

For those of you who gave one of my “Tailgating Through The South” prints, I thank you!  I hope your loved one enjoyed it as much as I did while creating the painting.  My love of painting, tailgating, college football and great tablescapes inspired me.  Please read the highlights of each tailgating painting on my website, kathymillertime.com I really do have a passion for all the schools I visited.  People ask me, “which was your favorite?”  I always pause before replying.  I get ready to say “The Grove at Ole Miss”

and then add, “but I loved Fayetteville and Arkansas.”

Then I say, “there is nothing like The Vol Navy.”

Or “South Carolina has the Cockaboose Railroad”.

I love the traditions, wonderful experiences and the people at all the schools I visited.

Final BCD Game was one of the best ever even if an SEC team didn’t win. SEC run through the BCS years was pretty impressive. I love the fact that there will now be an actual playoff. Don’t be surprised if it often includes multiple SEC teams. Now on to Basketball & Go Cats!

I AGREE DAVE! What a great game. There were so many interesting games this bowl season. I too am looking forward to a playoff next year. Basketball here we come. I love it when we get to conference play.
