KATHY MILLER: After rooting for my favorite team and my alma mater, the Tennessee Volunteers, attending Florida games as a Gator Mom, and traveling to away games around the SEC, I painted a “Tailgating Through The South” series that celebrates the special school traditions and unique tailgating spots of each of the 14 Southeastern Conference schools. Each painting richly captures the essence of its school’s culture, campus, culinary creations, and people; always including a tailgate. Many of the recipes painted into the tailgates are featured by school in the Signature Recipes on this site.
