Welcome 2018! I am very happy to be in the New Year. 2017 brought lots of happiness, change, some sadness, but mainly good things. If you are wondering why I am so late in wishing Happy New Year, I am too!!!
First, a big thank you to family, friends and loyal readers! Finding the time to paint, tailgate, redesign my website (PMCJax), write blog posts, share great recipes (and test those recipes)…remodel a home (while living over a garage apartment during renovations), stretched me to my limits…The good news! Dave and I are still happily married.
Second, here’s a sneak preview of what’s comin’ up…
NFL playoffs this weekend…watch for a few Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars recipes for tailgating or homegating…

Before/after story on our home renovation…A special place…We moved from the marsh to the ocean and back to the marsh in a family home that means lots to the Miller family!

As I move through the New Year, I will be remembering a good friend, lost to us in February 2017. Steve was a master at the art of living. He loved his wife and family, to dance, drink wine, watch football, golf, movies, read and visit with friends… just the best ever person. (He always clogged with me to Rocky Top and he was from New Jersey!)
My new year’s resolution is to honor Steve by celebrating friends and family, dancing a little more (cue Rocky Top…), tailgating with style, and sharing it all with you!
So here’s to Steve, celebrating family, friends, and special times! Come celebrate with me. I’ll save you a seat at the table.
