PIMENTO CHEESE SANDWICHES AT THE MASTERS IN AUGUSTA

The Masters in Augusta is one of the most storied golf tournaments, held at Augusta National on beautiful, almost hallowed ground.  This tournament is about Tradition, Sportsmanship, Southern Hospitality, Good Manners, Good Simple Food at fair prices, and Great Golf.  It is about legends in the golfing world.  Badges (tickets) to the tournament are passed down through the generations.  It is a treat to attend!

While I visit friends in Charleston, husband Dave is walking the grounds at Augusta.  I asked him to have a pimento cheese sandwich for me.  The Masters serves Great Southern Pimento Cheese Sandwiches and Egg Salad Sandwiches, made fresh on the premises.  Both for a whopping $1.50

  • Dave Miller says:

I had two pimento cheese sandwiches today at Augusta National. In honor of my wife, I followed her favorite golfer Phil Mickelson who shot a wonderful 67. Should be a great finish tomorrow.

    • Wish I had one of those pimento cheese sandwiches! So glad you followed Phil. He is my favorite, but sure was happy with Jordan Speith’s win. Think he is great for the game of golf and will have a tremendous future.
